  • Paul Muntz

    Paul is the senior partner of Fleming Muntz. He has practised in Albury for over 50 years and is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Business Law.

    Clients appreciate the depth of Paul’s experience when seeking creative or tax-effective solutions to estate planning solutions – especially when complex or extensive assets are involved. Numerous rural families throughout regional Victoria and southern New South Wales have sought out Paul’s assistance negotiating estate plans fair to all family members, and to restructure their affairs to ensure smooth succession of on- and off-farm assets between generations.

    In his practice, Paul has provided legal services to a number of Government and quasi-Government bodies as well as regional, national and international businesses and has particular experience in:-

    • complex rural land transfers
    • estate and succession planning for business people
    • succession planning for farming families
    • joint venture property development
    • medical practice structuring

    Paul is a past President of the Albury & District Law Society and is current Chair of the Estate Planning section of the Law Australasia Group. He is a regular speaker on estate and succession planning for professional bodies and at public seminars.

  • Kellyanne Allwood

    Kellyanne is a partner of Fleming Muntz and practices extensively in the areas of estate and succession planning, estate administration and claims upon deceased estates.

    She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canberra and a Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Wills and Estates. Kellyanne is proud to be an Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates.

    Clients seek Kellyanne’s advice and expertise on a wide range of estate planning issues, ranging from complex strategies for farming families, blended families and vulnerable beneficiaries, to tax effective wills incorporating testamentary trusts and more straightforward planning incorporating financial powers of attorney, guardianship documents and advanced care planning.
     
    Kellyanne understands the difficulties clients experience planning their personal affairs or dealing with the estate of a close friend or relative. She enjoys developing strong relationships with her clients and their other advisors, as well as her professional colleagues and approaches her practice with compassion, empathy and attention to detail.
     
    Kellyanne is committed to community education and regularly gives presentations on estate planning and elder law issues to community groups and her professional peers. In addition, she is regularly asked to give in-house training to staff of local accountancy and financial planning firms.
     
    Kellyanne is a graduate fellow of the College of Law, an active member of the Law Australasia Estate Planning Special Interest Group and provides pro bono legal services to a charitable organisation. She is a member of the NSW Law Society and a past office-bearer of the Albury & District Law Society.

  • Ian Byles

    Consultant

    Ian is a consultant to the firm and specialises in business and commercial law. He is on leave of absence from Fleming Muntz throughout 2016 while undertaking a contracted position with the Commonwealth Government.

    He was admitted to practice in 1993 and has worked in Sydney and overseas as well as spending several years as a business lawyer in rural New South Wales.

    Ian is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in business law, has completed a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance through the Institute of Chartered Company Secretaries Australia, and graduated with a Master of Laws in 2008.

    Clients seek Ian’s advice to plan and implement business mergers and acquisitions, as well as working closely with other professionals to manage transactional and recurring legal compliance issues. He has particular experience in medical and dental practice transactions, together with medical infrastructure projects such as private hospitals and medical imaging facilities.

    He is frequently consulted by other lawyers to advise on specialist issues and has particular experience in:

    • complex business acquisitions and mergers
    • trust advice, compliance and restructuring.

    In 2006 Ian was appointed a Notary Public for New South Wales and is available to perform notarial duties for corporate and private clients with international interests.

  • Tracey Justin

    Law Clerk
    Tracey has been working with the legal profession for almost 30 years, since beginning her career in Ballarat.

    Since moving to Albury in 1997, Tracey has specialised in probate and estate administration and has a recognised proficiency in this demanding area of law.

    Tracey brings compassion and support to her practice of law, and her sensitive and caring approach is valued by her clients, particularly at such a difficult time.

    The complex process of estate administration requires the highest standards of proficiency and organisation, and Tracey’s skills in that area are outstanding.

    As an added service to clients, Tracey holds a position of Honorary Justice of the Peace for the states of Victoria and New South Wales.

  • Stephanie Grelli

    Law Clerk

    Stephanie commenced her legal career in Queanbeyan and joined Fleming Muntz as part of our administrative team in 2016.

    Her background experience is in estate planning, deceased estates and property law.

    Stephanie is currently completing an Associate Degree in Law (Paralegal Studies) through Southern Cross University.

    As an added service to clients, Stephanie holds the position of a Justice of the Peace for the State of New South Wales.

  • Leonie Ryan

    Paralegal

    Leonie commenced her legal career over 25 years ago and has worked within the industry in Albury/Wodonga for most of that time.

    She joined Fleming Muntz in early 2012 as part of our clerical team.

    Leonie works specifically in the areas of Business and Estate planning providing paralegal support in these areas.
