Home purchase: simple and stress free

At Fleming Muntz we recognise how important the purchase of a home is to our clients. In an effort to make this process as simple and as stress-free as possible we now provide our clients with two valuable documents:

  • Legal steps to your new home
  • House moving checklist

What’s changed?

These brochures are sent to our clients following the exchange of contracts so that each step of the conveyancing process is explained simply and clearly.

What are the benefits?

The legal steps brochure lets our clients know exactly where their purchase is up to and sets out the following key dates:

  • Expiry of "cooling-off" period
  • Finance approval
  • Pest and building reports
  • Insurance
  • Payment of stamp duty
  • Final inspection

The house moving checklist provides our clients with a running list of matters that need to be attended to prior to and following the move into their new home.

Samples of these documents are attached to this email.

How can Fleming Muntz help?

We are also developing a booklet titled
11 mistakes to avoid when buying and selling a home.

The booklet covers the common traps to avoid when dealing with residential property and has been produced as a result of our own experiences when acting for vendor and purchaser clients in the Albury-Wodonga region.

We will shortly provide you with copies of the booklet, which you may wish to make available to your clients.

Fleming Muntz can assist you or your clients with any conveyancing matter be it buying, selling or general advice.
